Whole Wheat English Muffins with Honey Recipe


  • 1 3/4 cup whole milk.
  • 3 tbsp butter.
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 3 tbsp Dabur Honey.
  • 1 pkg yeast.
  • 1 egg.
  • 4 1/2 cup whole wheat flour


  1. warm the milk and butter {until the butter melts}
  2. stir in the honey, and cool to about 100 degrees
  3. stir in the yeast, salt, and 4 cups of the flour (adding more if the dough is still too sticky)
  4. mix until the dough becomes smooth, and pulls away from the sides of the bowl - this will take a few minutes
  5. roll into a ball, cover, and let rise until doubled {about 1 1/2 hours}divide the dough into 16 balls
  6. flatten into discs
  7. let rest 30 minutes
  8. cook on a griddle, or skillet on low
  9. cook 12 - 15 minutes per side
  10. Preparation Time: 10 mins.
  11. Cooking Time: 20 mins.
  12. Serves: 2.
