Honey Chilli Cauliflower Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 medium Cauliflower
  • cut into florets
  • 2 large Tomato pureed
  • 1 large Onion pureed
  • 2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Dabur Honey
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Black cardamom
  • 2 small Green cardamom
  • 3 Clove
  • 1 inch stick Cinnamon
  • 2 Bay leaves.

Method

  1. In a bowl mix together cauliflower, tomato puree, onion paste, ginger garlic paste, salt honey, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and mustard oil.
  2. Mix well and set aside for one hour.
  3. Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds, when they splutter add black and green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and mix well.
  4. Add the marinated cauliflower, saute on high heat for two minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat and cover and cook for half an hour or till done.
  6. Preparation Time: 1 hour.
  7. Cooking Time: 40 mins.
  8. Serves: 4.
